The event, approved by the Italian Cycling Federation, saw the participation of 200 participants, budding cyclists in the categories from G1 to G6 (7 to 12 years old), both female and male. After the race number collection, which began around 12.30, the kids lined up for the start. At 14:00, organised in groups of a maximum of 40 participants, the young cyclists set off on a 1 km long closed circuit. The laps varied depending on the category: a minimum of 3 for the G1 category up to a maximum of 17 for the G6 category. To give the official start, in addition to the hostess Alessia Piccolo CEO of Alé, there was also the mayor of Sorgà Christian Nuvolari, along with the Councillor for Sport Simone Meneghelli. A number of sportsmen and cyclists came to witness this beautiful day of sport, all dedicated to children: from Anna Trevisi, athlete in force at the team Alé BTC Ljubliana to the football player Riccardo Meggiorini, currently at L.R. Vicenza (and former Inter, Chievo and Torino). For all, at the arrival, an Alé gadget and a nice snack.

The event was organised in accordance with the FCI protocol relating to the pandemic. Alessia Piccolo, Managing Director of A.p.g., the company that owns Alé, commented: "It's important to give space to these young cyclists, to help them grow their passion for this sport from a young age. They are our future and they must have adequate spaces where they can practice and also where they can put themselves to the test. Today it was a joy for me to see them at the start, concentrated and prepared like real professionals! An event that we will definitely repeat!
