Alé renews its partnership with the Giro d'Italia for young people and will dress the ranking leaders of the 2021 event with its unmistakable, innovative design. (VR).
Bonferraro di Sorgà (VR) 21 April 2020 - The Under 23 Tour of Italy returns in June after an edition postponed to the end of August due to the pandemic. Alé is back with the Tour of Youth, who will be the partner of the leader's jerseys this year as well.
The partnership with the most demanding and prestigious stage race in the world dedicated to young cyclists is now a must for the Veronese brand, which has always supported youth cycling. The Giro d'Italia Under 23, organized by Nuova Ciclistica Placci 2013, chaired by Marco Selleri, presented today with a streaming event, the 2021 edition. The 10-stage race will cross 5 Italian regions starting from Cesenatico (FC ) on 3 June and ending in Castelfranco Veneto (TV) on 12 June 2021. It will see 176 athletes from 35 teams at the start, including 17 foreign formations and 18 Italian teams, for a total of 14 countries. There are six jerseys that Alé has designed for the Giro Under 23: Maglia Rosa Enel: Leader of the general classification Maglia Rossa Work Service Group: Leader of the points classification Maglia Verde Capitelli: Leader of the classification of the Mountain Grand Prix GLS Blue Jersey: Leader of the Intergiro classification White Jersey Chiesi for AIDO: Leader of the youth ranking Combined Jersey (ENIT): Leader of the ranking that takes into account the general, points and GPM rankings.
The jerseys made available for the Giro Under 23 are hi-tech garments, which are part of Alé's PR-S collection, designed for professional teams. This collection represents the maximum of textile research and engineering available today. Particular attention was paid to the Racing Fit fit. Alé has carried out extensive studies on the aggressive stance adopted by cyclists during the race: the result is a garment that aims to improve speed without sacrificing comfort. Thanks to the application of the "Body Mapping" technology, where the strategic positioning of the fabrics, in the various areas of the body, is chosen according to the needs of ventilation, transpiration and protection, the cuts of the shirts are reduced to a minimum and the flat seams wrap the body with a perfect and aerodynamic fit. As already in 2020, the stage no. 6 of the Giro Under 23, that of June 8, 2021, will start from Bonferraro di Sorgà (VR) and the Giro Giovani will start right from the square in front of the company. The route, which will see its peak on the splendid Monte Selvino, will then end in San Pellegrino Terme.
In support of the partnership with the Giro d'Italia Under 23, Alé has also developed a series of initiatives, aimed at both the Under 23s and the world of amateurs. The company will follow each stage with its own means. On the occasion, the many fans will have the opportunity to see the brand's innovative clothing collections up close.
