The new French national team kit

A few months before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the FFC unveils a completely new uniform design, more in line with the new image of the French national team. This design is the result of a close collaboration with the Official Partner, Alé, a brand specialised in high-end cycling clothing and customised garments, which allows the French team to benefit from the best technologies on their way to success.

The PR.S jersey is the fruit of a decade-long collaboration, consisting of continuous exchanges between the R&D - Performance section of the FFC and the Alé technical team, constantly searching for new technical solutions and innovations. This work has been rewarded by a successful French team, whose athletes have won almost 700 medals (European, World and Olympic) in the past 10 years! Beautiful and performing, the PR-S jerseys and shorts are a concentrate of the best innovative and technical solutions proposed by Alé in 2023: "Body Mapping" technology, anatomical construction and close cut integrating anti-static carbon yarns, strategically positioned ultra-light Micro Aero fabrics, anatomical and aerodynamic collar, sleeves made with a special honeycomb and microfibre fabric, jersey bottoms with J-Stability shaped construction, S-Stability System on the shorts, for greater comfort and performance. The new uniform of the French national team will be worn for the first time by the athletes at the next World Championships in Glasgow 2023 and in all subsequent international competitions.

Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the company behind Alé: "Our collaboration with the French Cycling Federation plays a key role in the development of marketing and sales at an international level. It is the perfect complement to our investments in World Tour and Granfondo teams. We are particularly proud, as an Italian manufacturer with a passion for cycling and racing, to support and dress the French national team in all disciplines. The design we created for this uniform, which has been completely redesigned, is a strong symbol of our partnership in a year when we celebrate 10 years of close collaboration. This federal partnership allows us to show the world, our customers and the cycling community all the assets of our brand: commitment, performance, technicality, innovation and above all the quality of our 100% Made in Italy products."

Michel Callot, President of the French Cycling Federation is enthusiastic about the presentation of the new uniform: "The French Cycling Federation is pleased and proud to present this new uniform for the French national team. I am particularly fond of the national team's uniforms, both for their technical, design and aesthetic aspects. Our partner Alé has once again risen to these multiple challenges, and is a resource that the French team is proud to boast."

Christophe Manin, National Technical Director, explains what the new jersey represents: "In our quest for performance, everything is important: the choice of material, the fabrics, the technicality of the products, and the design. From the fabric used to the finishing touches, nothing must be left to chance by the clothing supplier. For 10 years, Alé has been offering us excellent technical solutions and responding perfectly to the specific demands of our athletes. Today, we have an elegant French national team that has all the credentials to be up to the various sporting events leading up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games."
