UAE TOUR: ALE’ DOUBLES THE PARTNERSHIP

For the third year Alé has been partner of the famous World Tour stage race, which takes place across the roads and deserts of the United Arab Emirates.


The partnership, which began in 2021, expanded in 2023 with the sponsorship of the new UAE Tour Women edition, that took place two weeks before the UAE Tour Men, from 9-12 February. "We are glad to have reconfirmed the partnership with the UAE Tour. - commented Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the company to which Alé belongs - Especially this year, with the UAE Tour Women, as we really care about women who love cycling.” For the event, Alé has produced the leaders’ jerseys in four colours as in 2022:

- Red Jersey: general classification leader

- Green Jersey: points classification leader

- White Jersey: young rider classification leader

- Black Jersey: sprints classification leader







These jerseys are part of the PR-R Collection that Alé dedicates to teams and professional cyclists.
Lightness, breathability, Fit race ergonomics, combined with innovative technologies, are the predominant features of these technical garments. Athletes from some of the strongest teams on the World Tour circuit competed for the leaders’ jerseys signed by Alé.

The winner for the 2023 edition of the UAE Tour Men was Remco Evenepoel, followed by the Australian Plapp and Adam Yates to close the podium. Pello Bilbao, from Team Bahrain Victorious sponsored by Alé,finished 4th. Evenepoel also gained the white jersey as best young rider, Tim Merlier the green jersey and Edward Planckaert the black one. The success of the first edition of the UAE Tour Women went to Elisa Longo Borghini, Red jersey, ahead of Gaia Realini and Silvia Persico.
The Green jersey went to Charlotte Kool, the White jersey to Gaia Realini and the Black jersey to Agnieszka Skalniak-Sojka.
