Statutory guarantee of conformity

Set out below is the harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity, as required by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1157.

The statutory guarantee of conformity is provided for by European and national legislation for the protection of consumers. All products sold on this website to customers acting as private consumers are covered by the statutory guarantee provided for in Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). Duration and liability The seller is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods and which becomes apparent within 2 years of that date. The time limit for bringing a claim in respect of such defects is 26 months from the date of delivery of the goods. Your rights

Where there is a lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled to have the product brought into conformity free of charge.

1) Repair or Replacement: The consumer may choose between repair or replacement of the product, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would impose disproportionate costs on the seller.

2) Price Reduction or Refund (Termination of the contract): The consumer is entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract (with a full refund) if:

2.1) Repair or replacement is impossible or too onerous.

2.2) The seller has not carried out the repair or replacement within a reasonable time.

2.3) A lack of conformity arises despite the seller’s attempt to restore the goods.

2.4) The lack of conformity is so serious as to justify an immediate price reduction or termination of the contract.

Note: The consumer is not entitled to terminate the contract if the lack of conformity is only minor.
