Quebrantahuesos Official Jersey

Alé is designing the jersey of the famous granfondo, which will start on June 18th from Sabiñánigo in Aragon. The graphics were chosen thanks to a competition among the many participants in the event.

Alé is a partner of the Marcha Cicloturista Ibercaja Quebrantahuesos by TotalEnergies 2022, the famous granfondo, which this year will start on June 18th, as always from Sabiñánigo, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. The event has two routes: a 200-kilometre long granfondo, the Quebrantahuesos, and a 85-kilometre mediofondo, the Treparriscos. The marathon attracts thousands of enthusiasts every year, so much so that the number of participants has been limited to a maximum of 9,000 for the long route and 2,500 for the middle distance. It is flanked by an expo, which celebrates cycling and has seen thousands of visitors at each edition since the first editions. Alé has been a partner of the event since 2018 and will be until 2024.

As in past editions, this year it has designed the official jersey, the one that all participants will find in the race pack when they pick up their dorsal. The graphics of the jersey were chosen and voted directly by the participants in the event. There were four designs from which the fans could choose, all with the unmistakable style and the particular stroke of Alé, but with different colours and graphic elements. The winner of the competition was the A jersey with 41.62% of the votes: the famous logo of the event stands out on a water-green background while the side bands and the back band are petrol blue and the sleeves are copper coloured.

The Alé jersey for the Quebrantahuesos is made with highly technical fabrics, designed for high temperatures and to offer an optimal fit, while allowing comfort and excellent breathability. The jersey is therefore particularly light to wear, perfect for the high temperatures of the Spanish summer. It has a long zip and three pockets on the back with reflective elements for visibility in low light conditions. "The jersey of this event is a symbol for the many fans who participate in it. It's a reminder of a special day, of having accomplished a small feat," commented Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG S.r.l, which owns Alé. "We've been partners with the Quebrantahuesos for some time and it's an honour for us to provide the official jersey. What I find particularly exciting is that the graphics of the jersey are voted on and chosen by those who will wear it!"
