Riccardo Minali joins Alé

Riccardo Minali leaves the pro cycling and joins Alé

The well-known Veronese brand of cycling clothing expands its staff: from this month Riccardo joins the team. The athlete from Verona will be officially in charge of promoting the Alé brand on the Italian territory and of managing the relationships with the many teams, professional and not, of which the company is a partner.

Professional in 2017 with Astana after 14 U23 victories, Minali raced for Colpack, with the Israel Cycling Academy, one season with Nippo-Delko and in 2021 with Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert. Veronese, like Alé, today Riccardo goes straight from the bike to the workplace.

"I consider myself lucky," he comments, "because I enter through the front door, going to represent one of the world's leading brands in the production of cycling clothing. To think that one of my best victories as a junior was in front of this factory... And on stage they made me wear an Alé jersey! For me this opportunity really means a lot. Alessia Piccolo, who is the CEO of Alé, has given me this card to play. I want to learn and I have the experience of a rider, I know what it means and above all how fundamental it is to dress well on a bike. What I'm going to do is give my best, fit in quickly, and repay this trust, which today stimulates me a lot".

Riccardo knows Alé well because of his sporting past, his friendship with Alessia Piccolo and the Zecchetto family, and because his father Nicola, a sprinter with 50 professional victories, works for DMT.

"The fit of Alé is proverbial. Take it from someone who has lived on a bike until now. I don't know a rider from the WorldTour teams that Alé works with who has ever complained about the brand! And the clothing worn by the pros is exactly the same as that offered by the company to amateurs. The materials are exceptional, to say the least: made in Italy by expert hands and often combined with those original graphics that have always distinguished Alé from the rest of the group.

"I am very pleased with Riccardo's arrival in the company," comments Alessia Piccolo, CEO of A.P.G., "young people like him can make a difference at work too: passionate, willing, full of love for sport and above all, true practitioners. You can't sell and you can't promote what you don't know well and haven't tried before. And Riccardo certainly knows his bikes and clothing. As for passion and heart, he equals us. I wish him welcome in the team! I expect great things from him."
